Cetaceans in Guadeloupe

Cetaceans are extraordinary marine mammals.

 

Cetaceans appeared on Earth ago 55 million years and have evolved over time.
Like men, Cetaceans appeared on Earth ago, breathe air on the surface, have hairs and are homeothermic.

Cetology, the study of cetaceans, allows today to identify more than 80 species all as fascinating as each other.

Adaptations, performances, socializations, communications, intelligences…cetaceans have many qualities and their study is fascinating.

Dolphins, sperm whales, humpback whales, Cetaceans appeared on Earth ago.
